how it works

Two U-channel mounting posts (installed to either side of the opening) serve as the guide rails. When flooding is anticipated, aluminum planks (or “logs”) are stacked into the channels until the desired height is reached. Rubber EPDM seals on the underside of each plank—and inside the post slots—help form a tight water-resistant barrier. For additional protection in high wind or debris conditions, the planks are clamped down and tightened within their channels.

Mounting Options & Installation

You can choose to mount posts either inside or outside the opening, depending on wall construction, door hardware clearance, or aesthetic preferences. Outside mounting is often preferred because the wall provides extra support.
